: Hello, Pierre.
Pierre: I told you never to come in here.
: The big boss' orders are most plain.
: Never mind about the big boss.
: Why you double-cross me Blackie LeBlanch?
: What do you mean?
: The wolf.
: Why you put the wolf on me, eh?
: Only three people know I'm the wolf.
: The boss know it, I know it and you know it.
: Yes, I know it.
: And the wolf attacked the camp last night.
: Maybe, after Blackie, no?
: The wolf was not out!
: I was not out last night.
: But-but Jacques saw him.
: A-and the footprint.
: Did you tell Jacques I'm the wolf?
: No! No!
: Oh, no!
: That is good for you.
: I do not know what attacked you. It was not me.
: Now, get out!
: And do not come in here again!
: thud
male #1: Yes, Pierre.
: Why are you calling?
: Another shipment of gold is coming down tomorrow.
: Good.
: We'll send it as usual with our regular consignment of lumber.
: We will intercept at point three. Is that all?
: No, we got snoopers.
: Government agents?
: I do not think so.
: Get rid of them at all cost.
: I want them out tonight!
: Yes, sir.
: Nothing must happen to this gold operation.
: It won't.
: Blackie!
: Oui?
: We have a job to do.
: What?
: The snoopers, they will leave tonight!
: [laughing]
: [instrumental music]
: You fellas in for the night?
: Yes, dad.
: Night.
: Goodnight, doctor.
: Where's Bandit?
: Bandit?
: Oh, he's around here someplace.
: [barking]
Dr. Quest: Okay, Bandit. Just checking.
: Get a good sleep.
: We have to get up early in the morning.
: Right, dad.
: Night, sir.
: We'll wanna get an early start tomorrow, Race.
: Are the hover craft checked out?
: Yup, I checked them both out.
: They're loaded and ready.
: Good.
: Let's hope we find what we're looking for.
: And soon.
Pierre: And what would that be?
: Who's there?
: I will ask the questions.
: What are you looking for?
: Who are you?
: If it's any of your business, my name is Dr. Quest.
: We are here at the request of the Ottawa government.
: We're looking for a certain specimen of petrified wood known to be in this area.
: You are trespassing, Dr. Quest.
: You must leave now.
: And how can we be trespassing on government property?
Pierre: I warn you, you must leave!
: And I am telling you to get out.
: Goodnight, gentlemen.
: Very well, Dr. Quest.
: But you will not like this timberland.
: It holds many dangers.
: The worst of which is loup-garou.
: Loup-garou?
: Beware, Dr. Quest, of loup-garou.
: Get out.
: Get out now!
: You have been warned.
: Remember, beware of loup-garou.
: What's a loup-garou?
Race: It's French for Werewolf.
: Gosh, werewolf!
: There's no such thing as a werewolf.
: Now, come on, let's get back to bed.
: Besides, if there were any around Bandit would take care of them.
: [whining]
: Goodnight, boys.
: [intense music]
: Hey! Wonder what that is.
: It's kinda late to be chopping fire wood.
: [chopping]
: [crackling]
: boom crash Wow, was that an earthquake?
: You boys alright?
: Okay, dad.
: Boy, that was too close for comfort.
: Right between the tents.
: Oh, gosh, dad!
: They tried to cram us.
: I don't think so, Jonny.
: They're lumberjacks.
: They can drop a tree on a pin if they want to.
: Do you think they missed us on purpose?
: Right, I think it's a warning.
: I wonder why?
: And I wonder what they're hiding?
: [whirring]
: Ready, doctor?
: Ready.
: You boys will be safe here.
: Stick close to camp.
: Right, sir.
: Okay, dad.
Dr. Quest: And if there's any trouble.
: Get on that radio.
: We'll come on the double.
: Let's go, Race.
: You lead off, sir.
: Take care, fellas.
: [whizzing]
: Hey, that looks like fun.
: Let's have a race on them when they get back.
: [instrumental music]
: Hello? Hello?
: This is Jacques.
: Go ahead.
: The two men have gone up the trial toward El Doncon Hill.
: Follow them!
: The boys are in the camp.
: Leave the boys alone.
: Follow the men.
: See what they look for.
: If they go toward the mine, call me.
: [barking]
: What is it, Bandit?
: Maybe it's the loup-garou.
: Loup-garou?
: We'll stand by the radio just in case, Hadji.
: [barking]
: Who is it? Come out.
: Uh-oh, a skunk!
: What'll we do?
: Well, nothing, stand still.
: Don't scare him, Bandit.
: We'll never get the smell off you.
: Easy, boy.
: Nice, uh, skunk.
: [sniffing]
: [sneezes]
: Hadji, back up.
: Slow and easy.
: Where are we going?
: We're just off to a safe distance.
: Easy now, Bandit.
: Don't do anything sudden.
: [yelping]
: No, no, Bandit!
: Don't run this way.
: Wait! Not here!
: [barking]
: Uh-oh, I think Bandit's had it.
: He's running away.
: We better find him before he gets lost. Come on.
: Bandit, here boy.
: Bandit!
: Bandit, here boy. Bandit!
: You know, Jonny.
: I think we are lost now.
: I'm afraid you're right, Hadji.
: Maybe, camp is this way.
White Feather: No, it is the other way.
: Huh? W-who are you?
: I am White Feather.
: This is Grey One.
: A wolf!
: Him, wolf. Him, friend.
: Not like bad wolf.
: Oh, the the loup-garou?
: Him, bad.
: Grey One kill him.
: And drive fear from deep woods.
: You go now to camp.
: Father come back find you gone.
: Him worry.
: How'd you know about my father?
: White Feather, friend of animals and woods.
: Know everything in woods.
: You go, now.
: That way to river.
: Bad men at river.
: Look only for gold.
: You go other way.
: Okay, but..
: Hey, where'd he go?
: He's gone!
: Just like that.
: Never have I seen anyone move so quickly and silently.
: We better do as he said.
: Come.
: Not yet, Hadji.
: Huh?
: Well, those guys last night.
: They wanted us out for a reason.
: Now, that Indian said there are bad men at the river.
: Well, maybe, there's a connection. Let's have a look.
: But if we're caught.
: Oh, we won't get caught.
: We'll just have a look a-and then we'll tell dad what we see.
: Come on, let's go.
: Besides, maybe Bandit went that way.
: Well, if you put it that way. Okay.
Jonny: Looks like a logging camp.
Hadji: There's no one there.
: It must be abandoned.
Jonny: No! Look, up by that old shed.
: [instrumental music]
: Okay, that's enough gold for this one.
: Put the plug in and be sure it's tight.
: Right.
: thud thud thud Okay, give me a hand with it.
: Hey, Andre!
: Bring me another hollow log.
: For the rest of this gold.
: Now heave!
: splash
: [intense music]
: splash They're gold smugglers.
: How do you like that!
: No wonder they didn't want us to camp near here.
: Boy! What a set up.
: They send a bunch of logs down the river with that phoney log with the gold in with them.
Hadji: Then it's picked up down stream.
: Let's go back and report this to dad.
: Oh, yes?
: You are going nowhere.
: Hey, Blackie, couple of kid snoopers.
: Bring them here.
: This is Blackie calling Pierre.
: Calling Pierre.
: What is it?
Blackie: We caught the two kids from that camp.
: They were spying.
: What did they see?
: We were loading the log with the gold shipment.
: They have seen that.
Pierre: They have seen too much.
: Lock them in the saw mill.
: We'll take care of the other two first.
: Tie them securely.
: They must not get away!
: That is all.
: It's no use.
: I-I can't get loose.
: Neither can I.
: The rope is too tight.
: What can we do?
: We gotta warn dad and Race.
: There is still time.
: We will get away somehow.
: [Jacques chuckling]
: Well, you can't, kid.
: So don't try.
: When are you gonna turn us loose?
: Sorry, kid. Should've minded your own business.
: You're not going to get turned loose.
: You'll be staying here forever.
: thud
: [groans]
: Hey, oh!
: It's White Feather.
: We go now.
: Oh, boy, are we glad to see you!
: You appear from nowhere.
: How do you do it?
: No talk now. We go.
Andre: Hey, Jacques!
: Blackie wants you.
: Uh-oh!
: Jacques! Didn't to hear?
: Blackie wants you.
: Hey! Blackie, come here.
: Somebody's got, Jacques.
: And the kids are gone.
: They've been cut loose.
: Hey, you stop!
: They got out the other way by the flume. Stop them.
: Where's White Feather?
: He disappeared again.
: Where do we go from here?
: Look, Jonny, here comes our taxi.
: Huh?
: When it gets here jump.
: Now!
: Where are they?
: Look!
Jonny: Yippee!
: Ride on cowboy.
: Yahoo!

: I'll stop them.
: [gun firing]

: Hey, we're in trouble.
: What's the matter?
: Look up ahead.
: The flume is broke.
Jonny: Hang on.
: thud
Jonny: End of the line.
: splash Jonny!
: Are you alright?
: I will be. As soon as we get outta the range of that gun.
: Both boys have escaped?
: Can they be caught?
: Blackie tried to shoot them.
male #1: There is to be no shooting.
: Blackie is a fool!
: What happens to them must be an accident.
: There is no time to lose.
: You must get to camp before those boys can warn them.
: Go now. Go as loup-garou.
: That is all.
: Loup-garou, eh?
: Ha-ha, a pleasure!
: [intense music]
Pierre: Dr. Quest and his friend will have a surprise tonight from loup-garou.
: [laughing]
: They should've listened to my warning.
: But now it's too late.
: [laughing]
: Oh, boy! What a ride!
: I wonder where White Feather went?
: He sure can disappear when he wants to.
White Feather: White Feather here.
Jonny: Gosh! Where did he come form?
: I wish I knew how you do that, White Feather.

: Where'd he go?
: Same place we go.
: Him go faster.
: Guard father till we get there.
: Come.
Dr. Quest: It's too dark to search anymore tonight for the boys.
Race: If the boys are just lost there's no need to worry, doctor.
: They're both good woodsmen.
: Yes, if they are just lost.
: Why don't you turn in, Race?
: I'll keep a bright fire going.
: They just may spot it.
: I'm afraid I wouldn't get much sleep anyway.
: [leaves rustling]
: What was that?
: Jonny? Hadji? Over here!
Race: It was probably just an animal, sir.
Dr. Quest: I guess you're right, Race.
: But you can't blame me for being over anxious.
: [laughing]
: [growling]
: Uh-oh, we have company, doctor.
: Can you reach your rifle, Race?
Race: Getting it.
Dr. Quest: Look at the size of him!
: Hey! He went right by us.
