Tom and Jerry: Spy Quest is an animated direct-to-video crossover film between Tom & Jerry and Jonny Quest. It was released digitally on June 9, 2015, followed on DVD on June 23, 2015.[1]

This is the twelfth installment in a line of direct-to-video feature films based on the Tom and Jerry property licensed under Turner Production Co., which is owned by Warner Bros. The film is produced by Warner Bros. Animation.

Premise[]

The cat and mouse duo, Tom & Jerry, run into Jonny and Hadji. The four "Quesketeers" must soon step up and save the day when Dr. Quest is kidnapped and the Q-Sphere is stolen by none other than Dr. Zin, who intends to use it as a weapon in another world domination scheme.

It’s just another day at the beach for the troublesome twosome of Tom and Jerry…that is until they bump into world-class junior spies, Jonny Quest, Hadji and Bandit. When longtime Quest family nemesis, Dr. Zin discovers Dr. Benton Quest has a device to solve the world’s energy problems, he sends his evil cat army to steal it and capture him and his bodyguard, Race Bannon. Jonny and his new furry friends must embark on an action-packed quest to find his father and save the world! It’s no secret this spy-tacular adventure is a fun-filled mission the whole family should definitely choose to accept.

  • Eric Bauza, the voice of Dr. Quest, was previously the voice of Dr. Zin in the Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated episode Heart of Evil.
  • Tim Matheson, the voice of the President, was the original voice of Jonny Quest in the 1960s Jonny Quest TV series.
