: Come in.
: Yes?
: Dr. Quest?
: I'm Dr. Quest.
: What can I do for you?
: I am Lieutenant Singh, Quetong Police.
: Commissioner Wah, my superior sends most humble apologies for this rude interruption.
: And what can I do for you, Lieutenant Singh?
Lieutenant Singh: It is matter of extreme urgency, Dr. Quest.
: The commissioner begs that you accompany me to his office, with the utmost speed.
Dr. Quest: Oh, what seems to be the trouble?
: This lowly person cannot reveal.
: Must see Commissioner Wah.
: [engine revving]
: Where are we goin', Race?
: To the local police station.
: Yes.
: I've to see Commissioner Wah.
: Oh.
: You don't mind Mr. Bannon and the boys coming along, Lieutenant?
: Not at all, Dr. Quest, they are most welcome.
: Follow them and do not lose them.
: I will not lose them.
: Hurry then.
: [engine revving]
Commissioner Wah: In view of recent events we feel most fortunate that you are here, Dr. Quest.
: What do you mean, commissioner?
: Lately, many people living in the Swamp Lake area have become sick eating the Quetong fish from the lake.
: The same fish they've been catching and using for food for centuries.
: Strange.
: And stranger still, is fact that no investigator sent to the lake has returned.
: You say you've lost four men in this area?
: Yes, Dr. Quest, we feel something sinister something criminal is going on.
: But we've made no progress.
: We are completely baffled.
: We need your help.
: We'll be glad to help in any way we can.
: Thank you, Dr. Quest.
: Lieutenant Singh?
: Yes, sir.
Commissioner Wah: Give Dr. Quest the complete file on our investigation to date.
: Yes, sir.
: And see to the removal of Dr. Quest's baggage from the ship.
: Have everything taken to the hotel.
: [barking]
: Is that anything else you need, Dr. Quest?
: Yes, Commissioner, I'd like one of the fish from the lake for analysis.
: One will be sent to your hotel.
: Doctor?
: Yes, commissioner.
: If you succeed.
: We will be most humbly grateful.
: [instrumental music]
man on radio: That completes the report on Dr. Quest and Race Bannon.
: Will that be all, general?
: They must not interfere.
: Make certain of that.
man on radio: They are being watched.
: We have covered all areas.
: Good, report all moves.
: I hold you responsible.
: So this is Quetong.
: It's beautiful.
: Yes, there's something about the Orient.
: Captivating, but at the same time, sinister. Like this fish.
: It may hold part of the answer to our mystery.
: [knocking on door]
Race: I'll get it.
: Oh, yes, yes. Bring it in.
: Hey, it's our luggage.
: It's about time.
: Take your bags into your room, boys.
: And hand me my lab kit, will you, Race?
: Here you are, sir.
: Doctor, did you get a new bag?
: No.
: Which one?
: This one.
: It's not mine.
: It's not mine.
: I never saw it before.
: Stand back, everybody!
: Look out.
: boom Quick thinking, Race.
: Not a second too soon.
: Wow!
: A bomb.
: Where did you get that bag, porter? Speak up!
: From police, they bring to hotel.
: Let him go, Race.
: Whoever planted that bomb did it before the police picked up our luggage.
: But who would put a stunt like that?
: Whoever is responsible for the contamination of the Swamp Lake fish, I guess.
: It's okay, Bandit.
: You can come out now.
: [whimpering]
Jonny: It wasn't anything serious.
: [barking]
Jonny: Just a little old time bomb.
: Oh, boy, what a hero you are.
: Doctor, did you say contamination?
: Yes, Race. This fish contains enough meslonide to kill a man.
: Meslonide? Isn't that a chemical used in missile fuels?
: Right, it's also highly toxic.
: Poisonous enough to keep any fisherman out of the Swamp Lake area.
: And remember, four policemen who went there to investigate have failed to return.
: I get it.
: Someone wants to keep people out of the Swamp Lakes of Quetong.
Dr. Quest: Apparently.
: I don't get it, dad. Why?
: That's what we're gonna find out.
: Oh, boy, you mean we are going out there?
Dr. Quest: Not we.
: You boys are staying here.
: I know, where we'll we be safe.
: [helicopter whirring]
: The portable television camera's switched on, Race.
: Fly straight and level.
: We'll see what we can pick up with it on the viewcomm.
Race: Right, doctor.
Dr. Quest: Ah! Very good.
: Now, to contact the boys at the hotel.
Dr. Quest on radio: Can you hear me, Jonny?
: Yes, dad. See you, too.
: Good. I can see you clearly.
Dr. Quest: Is the tape camera ready?
: All ready, sir.
: Shall I turn it on?
Dr. Quest: Yes, Hadji.
: I'll switch over to the portable TV camera.
: Record on tape, everything we transmit.
: Okay, dad. Over and out.
: [dramatic music]
: [barking]
: What's wrong, Bandit?
: Hey!
: Cut it out, you big ape!
: Run, run, Jonny!
: I-I can't.
: [muffled grunting]
: That's enough of now, Race.
: Let's swing around and head back.
: I'll tell the boys.
: That's strange.
: Jonny? Jonny? Hadji?
: What's wrong, doctor?
: They are gone.
: Gone?
: Yes, come on, let's get back there and fast.
: Jonny? Jonny?
: Look, the tape camera.
Dr. Quest: We'd better check it.
: Doctor, that tape playback is plugged into the viewcomm.
: Good, let's have a look at it.
: That looks familiar.
: Yes.
: Ah-ha! Look.
: It's Jonny, and Hadji, and Bandit.
: Hey, that's Lieutenant Singh.
: Lieutenant Singh?
: Turn it off.
: So, Singh is an enemy.
: And he's got the boys.
: We've gotta hurry, he doesn't know we saw the tape.
: We will trick him into leading us to the boys.
: [helicopter whirring]
: [telephone ringing]
: Quetong Police, Lieutenant Singh.
: Oh, hello, Dr. Quest.
: Why, no, doctor, I have not seen the boys since we left the Commissioner's office this morning.
: Perhaps, they went out for lunch.
: Boys get very hungry, you know.
: We have evidence that shows they left the hotel with you.
: Stay where you are, Singh, we're coming to see you.
: I have a feeling Singh will be out any second.
: Here he comes.
: Now he's in his car.
: Let's go.
: We don't wanna lose him.
: There he goes.
: [helicopter whirring]
: [tires screeching]
: [tires screeching]
: I see him.
Race: Lord! He's moving.
: He's seen us.
: Yes, and he is panicked.
: He's taking us right out to Swamp Lake road.
: Okay, since he's see us, let's get him.
Dr. Quest: Race, look out!
: Phew, that was close.
: Where is Singh?
Dr. Quest: I'm afraid we've lost him.
: There he goes.
: I see him.
: Better take her up, Race.
: Seems he's having trouble slowing down.
: [tires screeching]
: crash It's no use, Race.
: Stand back, we can't get near that fire.
: [Singh groaning]
: It's Singh, he was thrown clear.
: [grunting]
Dr. Quest: Get my bag. Quickly.
: He's coming to, doctor.
: Singh, where are the boys?
: Am I dying?
: I don't know, we've radioed Commissioner Wah.
: He's sending an ambulance.
: Where are the boys?
: Boys..
: Speak up, Singh.
: Where are the boys?
: Is he dead?
: No, not yet.
: You'd better get him to the hospital.
: It would be best if he were to die.
: If he lives, he would be shot as a traitor.
: Driver, bring the stretcher.
: Commissioner, we have Singh's full story.
: I think we can put an end to the mystery of Swamp Lake, tonight.
: What do you think, doctor?
: Singh was pretty incoherent with his babbling about block houses.
: And plans to set up secret missile bases.
: I know, Race.
: It's not much to go on.
: But we've got to find the boys.
: I wonder what Singh meant when he said the-the trees have eyes.
: Shh! That maybe your answer.
: Up ahead.
: A sentry post.
: The trees do have eyes.
: Now, Singh's talk is beginning to make sense.
: Yes.
: I think I can get him from here.
: pew You got him.
: Yes.
Dr. Quest: With that anestha-dart in his arm he'll be out for quite a while.
: Come on, let's go.
: [dramatic music]
: pew pew That's two more down.
: That stuff works fast.
: Shh!
: [music continues]
: [intense music]
: splash
man on radio: Post Number Six calling Post Number Five.
: Answer.
: Is anything wrong? Over.
: Post Five, come in, come in. Over.
: Uh, Post Five here, everything under control.
man on radio: You know the rules strict silence must be maintained. Out.
: Over there, two of them.
: Take the gun.
: I see them.
: pew pew
Dr. Quest: Good. You got them both.
: Look, Race, there's the block house.
: Think you can get him from here?
: I don't know.
: I'll switch to full power.
: pew Afraid he's out of range, Race.
: Yeah, I guess we'll have to take care of him the hard way.
: [intense music]
: Careful, Race.
: Right, doctor.
: [music continues]
: I must have hit him.
: He's been asleep all this time.
: Here, how about trying this on for size?
: Good idea, Race.
: It might get us inside.
: [knocking on door]
: thud Good work, Race.
: Come on, let's get inside.
: [dramatic music]
: thud poof That gas will keep 'em sleeping long enough for us to find the boys.
: Doctor.
: This looks like the intake for their air-conditioning system.
: Very good, Race.
: Put your gas mask on.
: We'll put the whole place to sleep at one time.
: How about the boys?
: The gas is harmless, just makes them sleep.
: clang boom Now, we better split up and find them.
: [dramatic music]
: [music continues]
: Thank heaven, the boys are safe.
: They'll wake up as soon as I get them outside.
: Not so fast, Dr. Quest.
: General Fong?
: The same.
: But I too have a gas mask, doctor.
: And I will like you to remove yours and join our young dreamers.
: Hurry.
: My finger grows impatient.
: Alright, Fong, drop the gun.
: Now, remove your mask.
: And hurry up, it won't hurt a bit.
: [dramatic music]
: thud Get the boys and Bandit out into the fresh air, Race.
: I'm going to have a look at that missile.
: We're on our way, doctor.
: [music continues]
: Let's see, now.
: Silo elevator.
: [whirring]
: [music continues]
: Oh, boy, where am I?
: Steady, Jonny.
: Race, what happened?
Race: We had to put the whole place to sleep.
: Including you three.
: [Bandit whimpering]
: Bandit's okay.
: And I think I am.
: [rumbling]
: What's that noise?
Race: Your dad's in the missile control room.
: Is he going to shoot it into space?
: No, I don't think so. Watch!
: whoosh
: [intense music]
: boom Wow!
: What a monster.
: Let's go, boys.
: General Fong and his gang will be waking up any minute.
: Huh?
: What?
: Attention, all personnel, intruders are escaping.
: Intruders are escaping!
: They must be intercepted!
: Do you hear me?
: Do you hear me?
: Post Number Four, we hear you.
: Strangers are leaving main lagoon now.
: We'll alert other posts.
: Post Four calling Post Number Five.
: Come in, Post Five.
: Come in, Post Five.
: Come in, Five. Over.
: Post five, here.
man on radio: Intruders are escaping, they must be stopped.
: They must be stopped.
: I am ready.
: [intense music]
: [gunshots]
: Get down everybody.
: How about a little more speed, Race?
: Sorry, doctor, this electric job built for silence, not speed.
: Never mind your rifles.
: Kill them all, blow them up!
: Use the mines! The mines!
: They must not get away!
: The intruders are approaching.
: Now.
: boom Wow, that was close.
: Fools! Fools, can you stop them?
: If they escape, all my plans will be ruined!
: boom Calling Post Number One.
: Be ready to detonate your mine.
: Too late. The strangers' boat has already passed by.
Fong: You let them escape, it's all your fault!
: You will pay for your carelessness!
: [gunshot]
: Ah!
: boom Wow!
: What was that?
: That was the end of General Fong.
: [Bandit barking]
: Look, someone's coming.
: It's Commissioner Wah with a boatload of police.
: Too bad they missed the party.
: Yeah, but so did we.
: We slept through all the action.
: Now, what do you call that outfit?
: Bandit's all prepared for the next time.
: He doesn't wanna miss out on the action, either.
: [barking]
