Dr. Rabel Salazar was a Colombian biochemist, who wanted to recreate the plague of his ancestors, the Malenque. He was assisted by his brother, Colonel Salazar. He is killed by the Malenque mummies when they expose him to a large dose of his own disease and throw his antidote away from him, allowing Jonny and Race to aquire it and save Jess.
