The Lizard Men were discovered to be a group of foreigners who conducted secret laser experiments in the Sargasso Sea. They wore green lizard-like disguises to scare off intruders.

Season one[]
The Lizard Men are a group of terrorist who are conducting laser experiments in the Sargasseo Sea and destroying any ships that enter. Two Lizard Men were then deployed to take out a pair of fishermen who were also in the area. When one of the fishermen signal the coast guard, the duo took care of them then out of the boat and destroy it. Unaware, one of the fishermen survived and was brought to land. Later, they spotted a ship in the sea and sent a boat carrying a small boy, a man, and a dog headed to their ship.
One of them head to the submarine to alarm the chief, the chief spotted them and order his men to take them prisoner. When Jonny, Race, and Bandit boarded their ship, one of the Lizard Men cut the rope tie to their boat. One of the Lizard Men captured Bandit who came up on him and three sneak behind Jonny who was looking for Bandit. As they surprised Jonny, he threw two of them into the sea and then the other pin Jonny down only for Race to knock him of Jonny into the ship and Race knock down three. One of the Lizard Men was about to throw a knife only for Bandit to break free from of them to grab the Lizard Men's suit and sent him flying into a window.
The Lizard Men captured Jonny, Race, and Bandit and brought them to the Chief who told them they are intruders and will not be allowed to leave. He explains that he develop the laser cannon into the ultimate weapon and plans to shoot down the rocket that will fly to the moon. The Chief ordered his men to lock up Jonny, Race, and Bandit, Race broke free and attack the Chief but one of the Lizard Men hit Race in the head with his firearm and took the trio down to their submarine. One of the Lizard Men was guarding only for Jonny to knock him out with a vent, two were knock out by Race after Jonny, Race, and Bandit escape and used Bandit as a decoy. The Lizard Men tried to captured them but each were defeated in different way, four jump into the water after Jonny, Race, and Bandit make it into the boat, but Jonny and Race defeated.
The chief sent two in a speedboat after them and tried to shoot them. The gunner from the Quest boat tried to take the boat out but was too fast. However, Jonny and Race defeated the speedboat by using one of the ships as a jumping ram to fly in the air and land on the boat killing the two. The Chief then ordered one of the Lizard Men to destroy the ship but two of the crew used the mirror to reflect the beam back at the boat and caused it to explode killing the Chief and most of the Lizard Men.
It's possible some of the Lizard Men made have survived as some were on the sub.
