Jonny Quest: Book of Rage is an unreleased live-action Jonny Quest fan film. It's produced by Banana-Dragon Productions and stars Chandler Macocha as Jonny Quest and Seraphina Anne Zorn as Jessie Bannon.
On September 2, 2021, a 3-minute sizzle trailer was released. The full film Jonny Quest: Book of Rage will likely not be released; according to Macocha, the production team "couldn't quite capture the vision [they] had, and [they] ran out of time" filming before Macocha had to move. Instead of releasing the short film, they released the trailer.[1]

Jonny Quest: Book of Rage was filmed in Michigan in the summer of 2017.[1] Lead actor Chandler Macocha made several Instagram posts about the production and the crew.
On August 29, 2021, Macocha teased the release and talked about production:[1]

4 years ago was one of the most memorable, challenging, frustrating, stressful....and one of the best summers ever.
Kelsea and I announced we were moving to Atlanta, and in typical Banana-Dragon fashion, we had to go out with a bang with one last project all together. AND - in typical Banana-Dragon fashion - we bit off a little more than we could chew.
As hard as we tried, we couldn't quite capture the vision we had, and we ran out of time.
However, to preserve the memories made and hard work done during those humid, blazing, dusty, freezing, emotional, exhausting days and late nights we spent in a pole barn in Michigan, Summer '17, we've pulled together a sizzle trailer that will be released this Friday! These guys were the epitome of selflessness on our set.
Greg was our gracious host in his family's pole barn - and we most certainly overstayed our welcome. He was always asking how he can help, never failing to greet us with a smile and a joke.

Seraphina was a trooper! We covered her in dust, she did her own stunts, and had to endure our shenanigans each LONG day. From day one, she was champing at the bit to show us her commitment and work ethic, and it was so cool to watch her bring Jessie Bannon to life for the first time in live action. She's fun and talented, but watch out - she'll kick your butt!

These guys are the essence of Banana-Dragon. Ever since I met them back in 2012 on their film, we've had A LOT of fun and made so many unique and priceless memories over the years.
Both of these guys are dedicated to vision and loyal to a fault, tirelessly pouring themselves into each project we took on; Jonny Quest was no exception. From spending days (and nights) carving "temple ruin" walls, to blowing dust through a straw as make-shift squibs, these guys made sure each detail was as perfect as we could get it, always serving the story over everything. I'm personally so grateful to have shared this adventure with them, and very happy to have these memories preserved with this work!
