History[]
Jakara lived on Tokyo and was an acquaintance of the elusive Dr. Devlon. His exact involvement in Devlon's scheme is unknown, although it's possible that he was serving as a fence for the gold items Devlon was created (or intended to create) using the process of artificially creating gold that he'd originally developed, and then stolen from, Dr. Zin. The Quests arrived in Tokyo hoping to talk to him, as he was their only lead in locating Devlon. However, some Replicants abducted Jakara, throwing him into a van. Despite an attempt by Jonny Quest and Race Bannon to save him, Jakara was killed when a Replicant shot him through the chest.
