- This article is about the incarnation in Jonny's Golden Quest. For the 1964 incarnation, see Jade. For the Future Quest comic incarnation, see Jade (Future Quest).
Jade Kenyon, also known as Jade Kenyon-Bannon, is a freelance agent and ex-wife of Race Bannon. She has a twelve-year-old daughter, Jessie.
Appearances[]
Notes/trivia[]
- Jade Kenyon is loosely based on Jade, the mercenary love interest of Race from the original 1960s TV series. The differences include race and hair color, along with the fact that Jade Kenyon is Race's ex-wife and the mother of his child.
- The idea of having Jade and Race previously being a short-lived team on the field was borrowed from a scrapped idea of the 80's series.
- Jade's daughter Jessie was reimagined from Jessie Bradshaw, who was intended to be a recurring character in the 80's series.
- In The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest, Jessie's mother is a new character named Estella Velasquez, and Jade is more like her original series self.
- The spelling of Jade's surname, Kenyon, is from the DVD subtitles. Before the spelling was confirmed, her name was also spelled Kenyan (with an "a") among fans.
