Hoyt Curtin was the musical composer for the original 1964 Jonny Quest television series. He notably composed the original Jonny Quest theme music.
General overview[]
Curtin first met William Hanna and Joseph Barbera when he worked on a beer commercial they were producing for MGM in 1957. Hanna and Barbera left MGM shortly after that and founded Hanna-Barbera. Curtin was the composer of many of the Hanna-Barbera cartoons' popular theme songs, including The Flintstones, Top Cat, The Jetsons, Super Friends, Josie and the Pussycats, The Smurfs, and The New Scooby-Doo Movies.
Curtin notably composed the original Jonny Quest theme song and music for the original television series.
