Haresh was the sultan of Bangalore, the husband of Neela, and the father of Hadji Singh. His brother, Deepak, tried to secretly order Hadji's execution, but the assassin, Pasha Peddler, couldn't do it and fled with the boy. Haresh died shortly after, likely due to an unknown sickness he had, and Deepak took his place, who was then killed by his son, Vikram, a few years later. His death is also the reason why he had not met his son's friends Johnny and Jessie, or met Dr. Quest.
