Hanna-Barbera was animation company founded by William Hanna, Joseph Barbera, and George Sidney in 1944, while still at MGM Animation Studios. In 1958, Hanna and Barbera started making their own original cartoons. In 2001, after Hanna died, the company was completely absorbed into Warner Bros. Animation.
