Notes/trivia[]

  • The episode was originally titled Cold War, but was changed due to belief from Standard & Practices that it sounded too political. The original title is alluded to as a movie playing at the Regent in a previous episode Thoughtscape, also written by Lance Falk, although it was producer Larry Houston, who sneaked it in.
    • The title was also the name for an unused episode concept Falk wrote for SWAT Kats.
  • General Vostok last appeared in Rock of Rages.
  • Professor Erikson first appeared in the original series episode The House of Seven Gargoyles.
  • The Quest Byte tag is a parody of the famous scene from the first Mission: Impossible film, where Tom Cruise's character balances from the ceiling (it even has similar music).
  • B.J. Ward is uncredited as Iris in the Quest Byte.

Goofs[]

  • Vostok wants the team alive after seeing that the Dragonfly has crashed, but he constantly has his men fire on them.
