Official synopsis from the publisher's website:

After the events of the DEATH OF HAWKMAN miniseries, Adam Strange is blasted through multiple dimensions only to land on Earth! There, instead of super-powered beings and legendary crime fighters, he encounters a boy adventurer and his scientist father—and they’re the only ones who can help him return home. Jonny Quest, Hadji, Dr. Quest and Race Bannon have a plan, but it’s going to involve a dangerous trek through Dino Boy’s Lost Valley of prehistoric threats!

And in the backup feature starring Top Cat, breaking out of prison is challenging enough for a cat, but sometimes it means stumbling through a cosmic portal to planet Earth…and right into the hands of Batman!

Plot summary

Adam Strange falls through a vortex into the Lost Valley. Todd and Ug see him and contact the Quest Team, who head there. Adam doesn't remember who he is due to the affects of the vortex. As Benton is helping him and checking his equipment, Adam remembers his name. Race points out that they can't trust him and they've called an Inter-Nation Agent to come help. Adam hands him his ray gun to prove he's not there maliciously, even though he can't remember. Benton mentions to Todd that the boy should come with them when they leave, but Todd explains that he physically can't leave the valley.

Dinosaurs come through the forest to attack them. Adam asks for his ray gun back and Race hands it to him. The dinosaurs are being controlled by an agent of F.E.A.R. She wants Adam to open another vortex so she and her team can leave, but Adam still doesn't remember anything else about himself.

Cornered, Race points out that Adam is wearing a rocket pack. Adam remembers how to use it and takes flight, and he remember who he is. He fights off the dinosaurs, allowing the Quest Team, Todd, and Ug to escape. Race, Ug, and Todd hold off a megalania, a "big komodo"-like creature. They're separated from Benton, Jonny, and Hadji, and Hadji uses his snake-charming skills to hold off a titanoboa, a giant snake.

Meanwhile, Adam has crash-landed and is found by medieval conquistadors, but the agents of F.E.A.R. catch up to him. The Quest Team is reunited and they ride the giant snake through the jungle. But when it approaches Adam, he shoots at the snake, and the snake retreats, leaving the Quest Team with Adam. Adam, who has now recovered all of his memories, explains to Benton how he came to be there.

Birdman arrives; he's the Inter-Nation Agent Race contacted. They return to where Adam came into their world, and find crystals, but Adam will need a greater energy charge to open another vortex to return. The F.E.A.R. agents catch up to them and demand he do that so that they can leave. Birdman charges the crystals with solar energy, and it opens another vortex. The F.E.A.R. team leaves through the vortex, saying anywhere is better than that valley, but they end up on a much worse world.

Adam's suit detects the beam he needs to return. Birdman opens the new vortex for him. Jonny hands Birdman his helmet and they say goodbyes, and Adam leaves through the vortex to return to his world.

Todd and Ug stay in the Lost Valley to look for Todd's parents. The Quest Team leaves on their jet, discussing their adventure and the possibility of going to other Earths.
